How it rides
Tsuguro Kogen operated on the northwestern slopes of Mt Tsuguro in Maniwa City, in the northern region of Okayama Prefecture. The mountain offered modest terrain across beginner, intermediate, and advanced pitches, with a steep course reaching 30 degrees. The resort drew a strong snowboarder contingent, making up 60 percent of the rider base.

In September 2023, the resort announced closure for the 2023–24 season, citing insufficient staff to operate safely. It has remained shuttered since, with no public indication of plans to resume operations. Other ski areas in the Maniwa City area—Hiruzen Bear Valley and Hiruzen Kids Snow Park—remain alternatives for the region.
