Green Valley Kamuro sits in Kaneyama Town in northeastern Yamagata, a small hill with one pair lift and a modest terrain mix. The riding here is straightforward—four courses ranging from beginner to advanced, with a longest run of 1,200 meters. A few tree-run courses opened for the 2025–26 season, adding some variety to what is otherwise a fairly simple layout. The mountain operates on a limited schedule: weekday evenings (12pm–9pm Monday and Friday, 9am–9pm Saturday and New Year period, 9am–5pm Sunday), so planning around those windows matters.<br><br>The base area includes a sledding zone and Yuki-no-Hiroba (snow play area) for kids, plus cross-country courses nearby. There is no on-mountain school, but rental equipment is available. Snowboarders make up only 8% of the rider split, so the vibe skews heavily toward skiers.
